This story is about Robbie, a 9-year-old 4th grader. His teacher Ms. Mary Beth discovers that he has some challenges with learning. Robbie doesn't know that his Teacher has a secret identity and superhero powers. Inspired by my real-life story of having reading challenges due to dyslexia during my school years: this book is for the children that feel out of place because they learn differently. Children who recognize they have challenges with learning, often feel different and alone. Their struggles often go far beyond learning in school. Because they are exposed to constant struggles with feeling different, they may develop low self-esteem. They need their family, teachers, and friends to support them in being resilient and recognizing that being different is o.k.
